let me guess, you are throwing away the one year old dura-ace brakes because they are dull and dingy for your standards?

Did you ever use the TRP carbon CX brakes? If not, I may be interested in buying them of you

They're on my S-Works CX right now, waiting for a new brake post for my Easton fork, since I'm apparently a ham-handed mechanic. Thinking of upgrading to a Land Shark CX frame at some point, something less harsh than an alloy cross frame...

No, the DAs are great, but these are white! So in keeping with the Euro-white lame theme for this bike, are a great fit. And they're not being thrown away, they're going on something else. Probably.
An excuse to get another bike? :)

Seriously walk out of your office and ask the first person you see to just punch you in the head.

Actually, my bike builder pretty much refused to talk to me for most of the morning...

As for the next bike, no more Looks for me, though that is a pretty neat paintjob.

But this bad boy is in my future, most likely with Red parts...

Dura Ace brakes are about 300g a set, so they come in a bit less. These are the "SL," I don't know what the differences are from the ones on their site though.
James over at Cyclingnews.com said they worked pretty well, so I'm willing to give them a shot.
I think retail is $350 or so, somewhere in there, not 100% sure. I paid less though.

Plus, they're white...:imstupid:

White? What happened to pink? I thought that was the rage for all the DH/FR guys

No, no, no. You have it all wrong. It's DH/DJ that's following the roadie trends.

With the white parts, it's like a song the radio station gets a hold of and plays 24/7. Now, look at the weight weenie revolution in DH....and carbon? Where did that come from? :D

Now when I hear some roadie talking about lightening up his bike, I'll ask him, "What are you, a downhiler?" :busted:
