Totem/66

I'm looking to buy a totem or 66. Any issues with the totem from 2007 (coil). The 66's are pretty reliable I assume from 06/07. Any input appreciated.

I love my 66rc2x from 06. The 07 models, don't feel so good as the 06 models. In my eyes then.

Totem Coils have the least problems out of all of them. But in reality, there weren't many problems with any of them except for the 2-step.

i work at a shop and we've had a kid come in 3 or 4 times now with a totem coil that is constantly leaking oil everytime he rides and it goes dry in the one leg. dunno if its a freak accident in production, but the one guy there dropped the lowers and he said he wasn't terribly impressed by the internals of the totem. He's a fox guy, i'm a marzocchi guy so i'm naturally gonna suggest the 66, esp now that i've seen totem's problems. My friend rides a 66rc2x from 07 and has no problems, and i'm getting a 66 ata 2008 here soon. so take it as you will. just my opinion.

I run a Lyrik solo air, and IMO it feels a lot better than any 66 I have ever tried. I have ridden the 66r, rc,rcx2, but not the rc3. The Totem was having some seal issues, but the coil and solo air versions have generally been holding up well.
