I'm having a hard time finding wide bars with lots of upsweep.
For some reason as soon as the bars get 28" wide and 8" tall, the upsweep gets thrown out. Most are around 1 degree.
Hoffman Buxom bars have 4.5 degree, but I can't find anyplace that lists the actual width.
Anyone know of some top quality bars that are 28+ wide, 4+ degree upsweep?
Ideally, I want 28-29 wide, 5 degree upsweep 10-12 degree backsweep, 8" rise.

Yes. My Terrible One "OOb" Paul Buchannan bars are 8.25" tall and have upsweep and backsweep. Not sure exactly what the degree measurements are, but they are super comfortable.

The new S&M T4 race bar is nice. 4 degrees up and 27 wide. There really is no need to go wider just because everyone else is.

I have 26" bars now, and am pretty set on trying at least 28. My hardtail and FS bike both have 28" bars, and I like that width.
The fourumph sounds good, Sunday bars are supposedly guaranteed to never bend or break.

The tree bars look nice. The threaded bar ends are a nice touch, and they guarantee sounds good. 27" wide though. :(
Not sure about the powercurve thing.... Might be comfy though.

ya i would say just wait on the sundays or get something else if the trees aren't exactly what you want. i don't get why they didn't just go with a full 28".

i'm kind of intrigued by the powercurves honestly, in theory they seem like they mite be super comfy, but i've heard a good bit of e-talk about flyracing bars bending. also its weird how the upsweet kind of stops and evens out, mite be awkward if you like grabbing near the end of the bar.

The powercurve thing was done by Powerlite probably 24 years ago. It was cool for awhile but not really an improvement.

Yeah I might wait for those, they fit the bill perfectly.
And you got suckered.....

Hey you might've seen the photo on the left elsewhere on the internet, it ended up being a really good and very early April Fool's joke! My legs are totally fine, well, not really, but they aren't broken right now. I have to deal with some plantar fasciitis which is common cause of heal pain. They made these casts on my feet so I can wear them when I sleep. Sounds like fun! Incidentally I'm getting ankle surgery to remove a bone spur in two weeks.
