I lost two of the three axles for the internal brushes in my Park chain cleaner thingy. I took out the last remaining axle, compared it to a 16d galvanized nail, grabbed my hacksaw, clamped down the nail in the vise & viola - 2 new (almost) perfect fitting axles!!!
I bet everyone knew this one already.
You might wanna deburr the edges before using them (file off the sharp edges).
