how is the bremerton/west side of the sound as far as riding is concerned? does anyone live or ride around there?
I'm flying out next week for a job interview and will spend a day or two exploring- is there anything in particular i should see?
I ride/race DH, dirt jump and do some xc if that helps.

Staying over the weekend? There is a shuttle day on Sunday. Should be a huge turnout.
If not and you prefer xc, Wildcat trailhead is my recommendation.
Google it.

You can ride year round and the past few weeks have been great weather. You can find something to ride depending on what bike you bring.

I'd imagine it's not far from Cap Forest...both sides. Not the best in the wet - sometimes.
