HOLY FVCK.

It's so good.

I always forget about Havarti, then I'll have some, and I freak out.

i'm convinced that you cannot get a decent manchego in the US; they even somehow manage to screw up the stuff they import from Spain.

harvati's a decent sandwich cheese, but i agree w/ sydasti that it's kinda boring on it's own.

I had a decent manchego recently that was a new offering but I can't recall the name. I like the two dutch cheeses I mentioned the most.

You know... I never think of Dutch cheese when I buy cheese. I need to look next time I'm at the store and try some out.

but Rogue is now the first ever US cheese maker to export raw milk cheese to europe.

based on the name and location, i figure they have to be related to the brewery. good stuff!

Mmm... looks good.

But that's a helluva long way from the brewery.

They have a brew called Yellow Snow there, you know. :D

Actually it appears Rogue started in Ashland then closed down that pub and now just brews in Newport.

And I can tell you for a fact after driving through Oregon to get to the coast last summer that it is a BIG a$$ state. :D

I've done the Seattle to Oakland drive, solo, about a dozen times.

Ugh.
