hey
i'm changing my sprocket from a 36t to a 25t so i need to change my 16t freewheel to a 9t or 10t does anyone know if i need to change everything like the hub or can i get away with just changing the cog and putting another one.

If you have a standard thread on freewheel, then as far as I know, the smallest freewheel you can get is 13T. I'm sure someone will correct me on that.
If you want to go down to a 9T or 10T, then you're going to have to build a new wheel around a BMX driver hub. But if your bike doesn't take a BMX size hub, then I'm not sure you can run that ratio.
If you have a standard thread on freewheel, then as far as I know, the smallest freewheel you can get is 13T.
Standard freewheel thread limits you to a minimum value of 15T.
The smaller thread-on freewheels fit a newer, smaller thread size.

If it is a cassette hub. You can get a cog as small as 12 usually, or get a new driver.
