these look very the same, check the disc drop out. I wouldn't think that Kona would license a frame from specialized?

the seat clamp looks different, I didn't think the specialized had an intergrated seat clamp but it looks that way.

Alot of companies use the same or similar dropouts...doesnt mean anybody licensed anything though....it looks decent though.

specialized has ISCG tabs, rear der. cable guides and drop out and the seat tubes are different heights with different clamp styles as well as a slightly different angle on the rear brake frame brace stiffener reinforcer bar.

you cant do much to change poop it still looks, feels, and smells like poop.... same goes for dj frames

Form follows function.
the way the chainguide is mounted on the Specialized, the chain stay would not last long.
