So I put a Wheels Manufacturing SS conversion kit on my bike and then got a new 25T sprocket and lo and behold... a 12T cog will not fit on back with a 1/8" chain. I put a 14T on temporarily and it works for now, but the ratio is low for my taste. Does anyone make spacers to fit a 12T cog on a regular 8/9 speed freehub body?

surely any bike shop will have these spacers for you. in plastic or alum.

you will have to grind down the thickness of regular spacers, look real close to the spacers on either side of this cog, also a 12...

Thanks WCH, thats what I kinda figured, but thought *maybe* somebody had seen some ultra thin ones for sale. I need to make friends with better tools......

Soulcraft make a set of really thin spacers: check it here (http://www.bikemannetwork.com/biking/p/COMPCASSSP/FW0050)

little expensive but they are pretty thin. (i have a set..)

i'm not saying that there aren't thinner ones to be found, but you will have to search pretty hard to find them...

(edit: hank seems to have the solution)
