If I remove all of the paint from the frame does anyone know what I can use to keep the metal from tarnishing?

Servus!
Try a clear coat, that's about it for permanent solutions. I use Turtle Wax on my finished armor pieces (mild steel) prior to shipping but this is very temporary and works only when caked on thick.

What kind of metal is it??? You could try a silver polish/tarnish inhibitor avalibe where ever nifty knives and spoons are sold....hehe. Oiling always works but its messy...

unless your bike is made of silver or bronze it wont tarnish. if your bike is made of aluminum than it will corrode. God makes al corrode so that it wont corrode further so you cant do anything about it but oil it or clearcoat. steel will oxidize (rust) but will never stop so same rules apply. waxes will (like stated before) only last a short time and the cleaners stated above clean but as far as protection do jack.
