Ti spring on a DHX

Ok, I bought myself a new frame, and it came with a 9.5x3 DHX 5.0.
The spring that's on it is a 3.25" stroke, I was wondering if it'd affect it in any way if I ran a 3.0" stroke spring? They're more common, and easier to come across.

If it is a Fox spring,Fox labels the spring with the total available travel.3.25" allows for .250 of preload and 3.00" of travel.Everybody else just list the stroke of shock it is intended to go on,The .250" for preload is built in,some spring may have more depending on design parameters.
