I know this has been asked before, but what happens to any residual money left in the campaign fund?

If it's not Guiliani's, then I'm sure he's due an upgrade.

The $$ goes to the RNC.

That is, whatever's left after paying all the bail for bathroom toe-tapping incidents.

He probably woke up and thought, "Fvck this, I'm gonna stay home and get my milf on."

Please, there's no way that, as a prominent Republican congressman, Fred's relationship with that woman could be remotely conventional to the point that they're partaking in normal marital relations. She's either a pre-op tranny, his daughter, or the complicit mother of his underage male lover. Bare minimum there's scat involved.

Why did he even bother in the first place? Did anyone think he really had a shot?

Yeah, as if Americans would ever be daft enough to elect some washed up B-grade actor as president.:twitch:

The media did.

As opposed to that long shot candidate that the media thinks is such a long shot that they don't even want to say his name.

Always makes me think of Back to the Future
Dr. Emmett Brown: Then tell me, "Future Boy", who's President in the United States in 1985?
Marty McFly: Ronald Reagan.
Dr. Emmett Brown: Ronald Reagan? The actor?
[chuckles in disbelief]
Dr. Emmett Brown: Then who's VICE-President? Jerry Lewis?
[later he rushes outside, down a hill and toward his laboratory]
Dr. Emmett Brown: I suppose Jane Wyman is the First Lady!
Marty McFly: [following Doc] Whoa! Wait! Doc!
Dr. Emmett Brown: And Jack Benny, the Secretary of the Treasury.
