View Full Version : shimano saint center Lock Adapter for 6 bolts help!!

hi all

so i just got me some sick magura gustavs,and have a little problem :brow:

the front brake adapter is 210mm and the rotor is 6 bolt.

now we get to the point


where/can i find a shimano saint center Lock Adapter for 6 bolts cuz the magura rotor is 210. ?(shiamno only comes in 203)

Shimano doesn't approve of using center lock adapters and it will probably void your warrentee. I see your predicament.

Ask your LBS, they can order all manner of odd adapters.

DT makes a sweet adapter, its a little pricey, like $50, but its worth it.

i think those won't work with saint... the saint centerlocks are bigger than the others, probably to the point where it is not physically possible to build a saint-ctr-lock->iso adapter. best bet is to use your existing saint rotor and switch adapters.

though the incompatibility is unfortunate it allows the oversized axles used in the saint hubs to come all the way out to the frame, making for a stronger hub. the oversized centerlock splines should also help reduce some of the disc slop for trials riding.

None of those will work as Nmr8 pointed out. The saint centerlocks are bigger than the others and there is no adapter for them.
