So my manager was placing an order with Scott bikes the other day and the rep told him there was two 2007 Scott Voltage Limited frames in the warehouse and they were the last two in the country, so he bought both of them. They came in today and they look pretty damn sweet, I've been wanting to build up a Slalom/DJ/Street bike for a little time now and I'm just wondering what kind of experience people have had with these frames.
Took some pics...

I've heard they're a little assheavy, but if you are going to get it for cheapsies, I'd say go for it.

Is it vert dropouts only or can you swap those out for horizontal ones?

They are actually a little more than I expected, I can get the frame for around 380. I was thinking I'd do the Voltage with a Zokie 4x fork, sram drivetrain, and I'll prolly lace up a custom wheelset.

i like the frame, a buddy of mine rides ones built up on deemax's full sram avid truvative parts and an argyle, rides really nice

i've heard that they're extremely stiff frames, looks like a really nice ride though.

that thing looks hella stiff with those oval stays. the tt looks pretty cool. Looks like it would be nice for what you are wanting to do with it. You could also look at a sinister DNA - my all-time favorite frame of its sort...
