So, new bike shop in town and after hanging out with one of the owners for a couple weeks, we somehow came to the conclusion of building a mini ramp upstairs. Next day he had the design and all the wood we needed.

After about 3 hours:

We still have to put the coping on, and do some graphics on it.
It'll be just for looks, with bikes on it and such, but a few of us will be able to ride it after hours. Expect a small video later this winter.

Some more pics, big thanks to Dave(dishboy14 on pinkbike) for taking them.

After a couple weekends of riding, we decided we might need to extend it a bit...

So, last weekend we went to work!

Turn and extend, we added four feet to the bottom, and extended one deck to four feet, insted of two.

Adding in some Spray....
The blue paint on the extended side says, "Let's Walk This Sucker" .
Deadicated is a local clothing brand.

No, it's a 2000 or something GT Performer.

We do a lot of head taps, I hope not as much now that we turned it, get that extra inch or two of clearance.

Shop is located in Cranbrook, BC.

I love it. My lbs has a mini park in a storage area with plenty of head room. It's really designed for boards but it's still loads of fun on the 20, there's even a dandy wall ride.

I don't know how your shop owner would feel about it but you could take down the ceiling tiles about the deck to acheive more head room...

There's probably another four inches of clearence above the dropped ceiling. A little too much work to remove the T-bar just to get that little bit.

More details on the GT Performer, original shimano DX petals, haro bars, primo powerbite replica cranks, and 990 brakes w/ tech 77 leavers.

It's not the drop ceiling that scares me- it's the UV bulbs!!

Do they have a full park, one other picture makes it look like they have other stuff as well.

Avalon Cycles looks like it does have a full park.

The mini ramp is killer, we got a bit of footy this past weekend, hopefully more soon.
