I would love to pick up some Wombolts, but my frame has a Euro bb shell. Does anyone make a euro bb for a 22mm spindle?
What size are the spindles on external bearing mountain bike cranks? Could this work?

The bottom bracket bearing life will be terrible. A 22mm spindle in an English shell leaves little room for bearings...and little they will be. You might find some external cups, but I don't believe the Wombolt spindle is long enough.

Exactly. I wouldn't try Wombolts with a Euro BB. I run Wombolts with a Spanish BB. I wouldn't want to go with any thinner bearings as I've had a few issues with these. And it probably will not work with external cups. The spindle is barely long enough for my bike with internal bearings.

Ah, good call. I didnt even think about the spindle length being an issue. I guess I'll just pick up some profiles.
