Hello all just wanted to say hello. I'm new, and wanted to post my ride. A geared KM in commuter gear for now.

Nice KM. They are a great commuter rig. I've got an '03 that I've used as a commuter before.

Welcome to the Monkey! I used to Rock a Camp Stove Green KM, and I imagine some day I will acquire another one. it is a great versatile bicycle.

I think the original poster has had his KM in many guises over a period of time - throw up the other pics when you get a chance. :thumb:

Nah, it's a medium. Funny camera angle I think.

Either way - nice bike. Curious - how tall are ya? I had a small at one point and often wondered how a medium woulda fit.

5'11"ish. Fits a little bigger than my Medium 26"ers but for the most part, I could probably go with a Large in a 26"er, so the Medium 29er fits nicely.

Thanks for the compliment, btw.

What is that bracket on the seatpost? Is it for locking to a special rack or something?

I don't mean to speak for the OP, but it is probably for a trailer of some sort. That's my guess.

Oh it's for my daughters trail-a-bike-thingy. She's six, and we rode everywhere this past summer. She's a real trooper. We rode a 40mile charity ride, and she did the whole thing. She was like my little coach back there yelling at me when I would coast:busted:

Here (http://picasaweb.google.com/live2pedal/Monkey) she is in several incarnations. I still have the nanoraptors, just not the fork. I ride it rigid, with no problems. We are pretty flat here.

Sorry for the link. My pics are too big.
