I have been looking for a 4 bolt spider for bmx cranks and i finally found one, I already bought one and i thought I'd post up the link because this is a rare part. It is used so you can run 4 bolt chainrings and bashrings on bmx cranks.

don't e-13 make a spider for 3 piece cranks?

And FSA, and Profile, and like 10 other companies that I can't think of right now. I paniced and grabbed one too, for like 38 bucks or something one day. THEN I found them for $11 somewhere...This was all a long time ago, and I can't remember all the details.
You only need the spider to run a chainring. Why not just run a chainwheel if it's a single ring app? Deity sprockets are set up to bolt a bash directly to the wheel...

Yes, E-13 does

Which is more pimp, the rings or the wheels?
Here's some eye candy...pick a color, any color!

Have to be careful choosing, though, I'm sure you won't find much in the way of 9spd chain compatibility there! Atleats you'll look sexy while cruising by the fans slowly... And they'll be like "ohmygawd, becky, like did that guy have a GOLD chainwheel with 3pc cranks??? Totally kewl..."
Sorry, first good ride in a long time tonight...still buzzin!

the best set up to run is an e13 super spider with a guide ring if your looking for a spider ring combo. I have had no issues running deity rings on srs's and lg 1's for the past 4 years. Deity has a new sprocket coming out in 08 that is lg 1 specific and will wight less than anything else out there for its tooth count. currently a 34t deity sprocket is only a few grams heavier than a e13 combo, but that does not include chain ring bolts so it might be pretty damn even. the other spiders available are not made (necessarily, they will work but not as well) as the e13 super spider. and as thrillseeka said most bmx sprockets wont work due to the size of chain they are designed to run

ROTFLMAO... I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that won't work with a 9 spd chain.

Assuming he ordered it for a 3/16 size chain.. he ought to be fine. Ive seen people run profiles with chainwheels on their slopestyle/full sus jumpers.

Nor a bashring
Not necessary if he's LG1'n it... OR just not too worried about smashing stuff. Hell, There aren't even rocks where I live... only reason I have a bash is cuz I'm too lazy to lift my bike AAAAAALL the way up into the back of my truck, so I let the bash do the work...

Profile is one of the few companies that makes their bmx-style sprockets compatible with a 3/32" chain. Very smooth if you run a
3/32" on a bmx..
I think he was talking about a FOUR bolt system for bmx type cranks (even though the link looks like a five bolt to me). Five bolts have been around for a long time, but the options for rings and guards sucks.

Damn, that profile/LG-1 is hot. I am not running a 9spd chain, nor am I running 9 speeds. Singlespeed WOOHOO! If I smash it on something I'll just buy a new one, there are so many designs and colors it'll be fun. This thing is so thick and the teeth are fatass too so it should be durable. BMXers beat the **** out of their gear so I'm confident it'll last.
