I am pretty sure the Avalanche, Fox Vanilla RC (from past years), 5th element, and Romic are the only shocks that fit. I'm not even sure if a swinger would but it seems like it should (being it's close to a 5th element).

I've seen some people fit a Fox DHX 5.0 from a Turner DHR (because the piggy back is seperate) to the frame.

unless you're getting the shock for cheap, i would just invest that money in a newer frame imo.

when i ordered my DB, i called direct and they made the mounting hardware specific to my measurements, so I presume you can get the mounting hardware needed.

My only real concern is the width of the DB's resevoir, but i don't think that will be a problem, there's alot of clearance for that on m1s

I replaced my 5th with a db. Its been a while since I've the two side by side, in terms of dimensions I think they are pretty similar. The one thing you should consider is the base of the piggy back on the DB is larger than most shocks. If your current shock is a tight fit around the head of the damper the DB probably won't fit.

wont fit, its due to the bottom, the rebound is not there so the spring is too close, same with yeti 303, demo 9, V10 and alot of others

This was also the case for my SX Trail, but they were able to take the regular spacer and machine away a portion of it to make it clear.

Maybe they have found a way to do it, or you could space it somehow yourself? Kind of expensive, though, to not be sure it is going to work.
