Dented Frame

I'm about to buy a frame with a small dent. Does a dent ever affect the structural integrity of a frame? always wondered this!

depends where it is. usually no, just not good for resale and street cred

some bondo and a can of spraypaint and you'll be good to go. As long as there are no creases in the metal or hairline cracks you should be ok.

it also depends where on the frame the dent is

It will probably be fine. Small dents are common on the down tube due to rocks kicking up.
