It's cheap, one of my coworkers has a lot of family out there.

You'd be suprised at its 'flatness'! The easter part of Iowa is nothing but 600' hills. One after another. And steep. I live in this neck of the woods(on the WI side, which is actually hillier), but I have yet to do RAGBRAI, but know the terrain well. The support for the event is outstanding, and its party reputation is unmatched if that's what you're looking for too.
