got some ritcheys for a stellar price from a buddy. I like them a lot better than the 105s I had. take a look:

I dig the top cap! The bike looks great, I like the look of Surly's bikes. I have a question, whats the difference between the crosscheck and long haul trucker? I know the crosscheck is for cross racing/riding but the frames look really similar.

Are they the 2007 or 2006 model? If they're 2006 keep a close eye on them. A friend of mine got some 2006 Protocol WCS wheels on his new bike last season and the hubs both fried within a few months. Apparently it was a common occurrence. He finally got 2007s on warranty and they've been good.

Huge difference in hubs. He'll be fine. I have thought about those wheels on my cross bike.

I just got a Selle Italia saddle that is leather....looking forward to being back on a leather seat. Doesn't have the hot look of those Brooks saddles though

Yup, swift ti. nicely broken in now. I really dig it even though it's heavy.
