Is it possible to put a QR hub on horizontal drop outs (for a hard tail). I would be running a half link chain to run it slammed but just wondering if anyones done it before since I'm tight on cash.

Thanks guys

I've done it on a steelhead....only problem I had was when you would case a jump the wheel would slip.

A bit off topic....can't you get the bolt on kits for XT hubs?

i would advise against it if you are running disc at the brake will pull the wheel to the back and away from the bike. i had this problem on my morphine when i had it. i had to go to bolt on which was a real pain in the ass in that bike

I did it on a Steelhead and it slipped a few times.
Just gotta run the QR really tight and keep the skewer as far out as it can go or as far in as it can go. It works though.
Might slip but its not like every single time you ride.
