What are rotors made from?
I know that they are mostly stainless, but is there anything done to them?
Heat treated, or 2014, 301, 204...
I can make some custom rotors at work and I was just wondering...

Different companies use different materials but I know there is 410 and 420 in use. Usually easier to find 410 sheet but chances are you'll have to get 13ga. Production rotors are double disc ground but could be blanchard ground if you can't do double disc. Cutting method would go a long way in determining what else needs to be done.
