DH or Freeride

1.I have always been more of a DH guy but when i moved i wasn't sure whether i should get a dh bike or a freeride bike i have found a couple race series and own a xc and an old piece dh/almost want to say slalom bike that i got for free, so i am lookin for a new bike and was seeing if there was enough races around here to get a full blown racer...i am not lookin to do any josua bender size drops but still want to play in the bike park and do jumps,ladders,bridges,etc.etc. shouuld i go with the dh or get a freeride?:help:
2.I will also have an old pair of marzzochi Jr.T forks that have only been mounted but not ridin on, i took the scratch saver stickers off the fork legs myself so i know they were not ridin on.they use a standard scewer not a threw axle sry.let me know if you're interested in buying them let me know....

Well if your into racing, there was i believe 19 or 20 races this past season, half of them NORBA, in the North East. I think you'd be fine either way, it's just up to you whether you want to race much
