Hey all,
I'll be relocating to San Francisco in a couple weeks and some hard choices must be made.
Only one mtn bike will make it out with me and so regarding the trails and condition I would like some advice.
The two at the top of my list are my Transition Preston and my Redline Monocog Flight (SS/Fixed).
Given the riding and options for rentals which one would you bring?
Thanks,
Justin

You would definitely want both. Just make it fit, even if it means tying the redline to the roof.

That's what I'd like to do, but it looks like that won't work out.

You could ship the Redline.

I moved from Boston to SF about 11 years ago. If you really can only have one bike, you want a trail bike with suspension and gears.

The trail bike for sure.

BTW why not both? Rat-cage sized apartment?

Definitely the trail bike. There's tons of techy stuff here to keep you interested.

At least for a year. We'll see how things work out once the EPA has a new budget, or when the country has a new administration.
It's a great oportunity for my advancement.

No place just yet, but I've just got too many bikes. Road, mtn, LOWRIDER.
