The axle on the prophets is bigger than a normal 20mm isn't it?

technically speaking... it should be stronger because it is larger... but at 220 and 6'1" myself.... it just says sheared axle to me. I feel your fear, and would have changed it out myself.

Nice! I've been really digging my mx2. It jumps/rails berms/rips DH really well, aside from nasty rock gardens. Too bad they're not continuing the mx for '08...it's not on their site anyway.

it might be bigger but it sure looks weak to my eyes anyway...when i took a drop or shock compressed all the way the tire would rub up on the lefty itself always found tire(2.35) marks on it...so at my weight and it bending like that.. it was always in my head that it might snap off with the pressure.....but thats just me.. now no worries..

My Wife is rocking a Prophet with the lefty this year, I'd be interested what you specifically changed to make it more durable? I modded hers with clear vinyl so her leg arm doesn't scratch her frame up, and added Michelin dh tire to the front. she's under 130 so I think this would be a good DH starter, if she wants to move up to a bigger bike she will after she goes to a camp or two next year.
