Trek 69er vs. Carver 96er

Just moved to Florida.
The really flat part of Florida in the pan handle.

My Nomad is of no use.

Want a 29/26 bike.

So run down your opinions, with justification if you please, on the Carver vs. the Trek. Figure the same fork, both are going to be single speed, which is going to make a fat kid happy.

Well I will say I like the Carver....mostly because Davis Carver lives in maine and so do I.

I love the Trek 69er...especially with the DUC32. I run this fork on my Sinister and LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

How do they compare in terms of price?

Pretty sure the Trek Frameset is around $900...the Carver is $500.

what about complete vs. complete.

Hell he could get a custom Ti Carver then for almost the same price as the Trek frame.

My vote goes to the small guy - go Carver!!!
