I was thinking about getting a Trek Session 7 , so I checked the Trek website. It seems as if they only are making the Session 77. Are they still making the session 7?

Thanks,
Matt

Well, Trek is making their new linkage system for 2008, on the new fuel line, and the 6" travel Remedy. The Remedy will be offered in three flavor of good, better and best. $3000, $4000, and $5000.

Then, if you wnat more travel, you have to jump on the Session 10. That's it. No 7", 8" or 9" for this year. The reson I know is that I wanted to get the supposed Session 88. No luck until 2008 for a 2009 release, if they decide to make it at all. I'm very desapointed to sat the least.

there is a session 7 series coming out to be released sometime in november/december with bikes being available for purchase in late jan early feb

i know this because i called my trep rep yesterday...i hate trek for this late release **** i just want to know what the bike looks like and if its 7in or 8in and if its lighter or not

updated mountain catalogs should be coming soon - or so the rep said

UPDATE - just got word from the trek rep yesterday. There is no session 7, the new bike will be called the Session 88 and it will be released in late spring. late spring as in april-ish.

why so late, i have no idea. im also a little confused at why they built an 8in bike and have a 10in. in my mind trek dropped the ball this year and there freeride line is going to fall off soon. you cannot expect to have a release in april and still have people wait that long just to see or get information about the bike. let alone not changing the 10 series in its first version (not even changing the color of the frame)...
