don't get two jackals, please. try another bike out maybe, preferably a fully, you might realize what you're missing.

I just want to know were I can get a new one (2007) cheap. If anyone knows please tell me. Also, I would get a fully, but it costs a lot more to buy one new and buying used is a pain.

i dont think that you will find a new one for under 500 bucks unless it is on ebay or in some classifieds. id just save up 550 and order directly from santa cruz

Ya, that is probably what I am going to do. Also, how did the Jackal turn out for you? I am sure you will agree that it is a sweet bike.
what's wrong with the 06 one you got?

Nothing, it just has small scratches. But I am sure you will agree that having an 07 is better than having an 06.

Ummmm... Ok, do you know how many guys would kill to get $550 extra? Don't be wasteful because of a few small scratches. Hey, plus, if you don't have any scratches on your bike, that means you don't crash enough, and if you don't crash enough, you don't ride hard enough, and if you don't ride hard enough... well then your a poser.

Haha, no man. You got it wrong. There are are not that many scratches because I know how to ride. I dont crash into everything that comes in my way, which is what I guess you do.
Also, you probably did not catch this before, but I am selling my 06 frame, meaning I need a new one, meaning that I will have money to buy it. I am not juust pulling money out of my ass. So next time you post something read the whole thread.

Santa Cruz doesn't designate model-years for their frames.
You're asking for a fork under $280 but you're replacing a frame because of a few scratches. Those are some strange priorities.

ya i got to ride around on a jackal the other day and fell in love. totally sweet bikes. right now im in the process of saving. bummer. haha, but i am building a pump track to pass the time so that way hopefully i will finish the track at about the same time as i get the frame. then i can have a whole bunch of fun! haha
dude, seriously, just get a front wheel and ride the snot out of the one you already got. there was no major difference between the 2 years anyhow. I really don't see any major advantages in getting a new 07 to replace the one you got, unless you see evidence of the frame being over-stresed from previous owner's abuse.
