Word is that our good friend Jeff Lenosky had his Giant Trance XO gangked in Northern NJ.
Not only is Jeff an excellent rider, but an awesome ambassador to the sport. We spent time with him earlier in the year when he spent countless hours helping shape the first legal MTB trails and DJ park in Manhattan proper. It totally turned the neighborhood around and it's a shame that someone so helpful had his ride stolen.

Keep an eye out on the street, trails, and shops.

Here's the details:

Please keep an eye out for Jeff's bike. He had it stolen near his house
in Northern New Jersey.
This bike is very distinctive due to Jeff's Sponsorship deal with SRAM.
The bike normally comes with a mixture of Shimano XT and XTR, and Fox
Shox.
Jeff's Contact info is below.
Thanks for keeping an eye out,

I got my XC bike stolen last night while I was eating dinner at El
Coyote in Netcong.

The bike is a 2008 Silver Giant Trance XO with all SRAM, Rock Shox,
Avid and Truvativ Parts, along with Mavic Cross Max SX wheels. I
know you probably have an extensive e-mail list for shops in our
area, so I was wondering if you could forward it along. I broke the
front XO trigger shifter last night, so if anyone is looking for
that, it could be a tip off. My e-mail is jeff@jefflenosky.com. If anyone finds it, I'll hook the
person up BIG TIME!

Thanks,

Jeff

I'll be watchin' the streets of Japan for shadies if it makes it's way over to this side, haha... alright, we almost got the globe covered.

but man, that sucks, bike thiefs need to step it up and out of our league and learn to steal more cars instead, haha...
seriously interesting to think that a lot of these big name guys also enjoy riding other disciplines in the sport too, not hating on xc dudes because the are too "street" or some jive like that... it's all good.

I wonder what Straitline parts it has. They are one of his big sponsors. You would think that would be mentioned as their stuff stands out. Maybe lever blades, pedals, or barends? BTW: That's an XC bike? This J-Lo lady must be a hucker.

It's a 20". I know cause he stole the frame from me in July when he was in So Cal. Well ok, he needed a bike for some demos so I forked it over. It's ok though cause I ganked his spare STP frame when the gay blue one came out so we're even...
