I bet they try to make it look like a cross. And then I bet the building catches fire just as Google Earth snaps a pic.

I like finding stuff with google earth. That thing is pretty obvious. Side note: The Nazi swastika is a corruption of a major piece of Buddhist symbolism. Buddhism used it rotating the other direction for a couple hundred years then Hitler came along turned it the other way and now no one knows what it's supposed to mean.

...and now several prominent street gangs have turned it back around and used it as a symbol of defiance too white oppression.
the first time i saw a backwards swastika on a black gang member i had to take a second glance...not something you expect too see, especially if you're not sure which way it's supposed to face in the first place.

It's interesting how a symbol that represents the sun could have the meaning changed so much.

There are a few subway stations in Seoul entirely tiled in Asian swastikas.

With all the satellites and aerial photos that the military has, I don't understand how they could not see that.

Read the article. They DID see it and have know about it since it was built. They just chose to not do anything because nobody else knew until Google Earth.

It's really a shame that they'll have to alter the classic form of Strangelove Hall, though.

This is obviously a big “oops, “ though not as bad as the AF losing track of five nuclear-tipped cruise missiles. Seems they were just lazy.

Do you think it is worth spending $600,000 of taxpayers money to remodel it?

No doubt. Makes as much sense as spending $500B to spread freedom. Oh wait...

spending $500B to spread freedom.

Freedom isn't free
No, there's a hefty ****ing fee
And if you don't put in your buck-oh-five
Who wins?

Buck-oh-five,
