I need new crank bolts, size m12.

the two options i see are:
1: m12 capless steel crank bolts for $7.99
2: m12 self-extracting cro-mo crank bolts for $13.99

what's the difference between capless and slef-extracting? does it matter which one's i get? i have an 06 truvativ Gigapipe team DH BB, 68x113

Thanks!

The self-extracting ones are capable of pulling the crank arms off with just an 8mm allen. Get those it's a nice plus.

Self extracting, will make the removal of the cranks easier.

I've always used regular crank bolts. If you torque them down correctly they aren't coming off.

The self-extracting one's looked neat for a while, but my bikes are behind the times (all ISIS stuff) with all the Saint type stuff out it makes no difference in crank bolts.
