That'd be a helluva ride up from the Junction to the pass. I remember it from the old Cheakamus challenge - the last nugget of hilly goodness up to the microwave tower. Or do you come from Singing Pass?

I deleted the contents of the thread since I was informed that these were not public trails and I usually respect the local riders' wishes to keep "off the map" trails out of the public eye.

I know it's tempting to discuss in places like this but please respect local trails that are not to be ridden by the masses. The setting isn't exactly intimate - not only do a lot of people post here, but at any given time there are a couple hundred or more unregistered users browsing as well.

not public? you can go into any local bike shop, nab a local map of the valley trails, and they are on there...not exactly "secret" by any stretch of the imagination :)

Wow, I never thought I would get censored...

I'm just a rebel, a leather jacket, greased pompadour, pegged Levi wearin’ in the shadows smokin’ a cigarette kind a rebel...

ok that was more like 20 years ago, in my youth… now I just ride bikes and reminisce...

Dude, RCMP would have been all over your ass! That's funny though. Trails are known, but it's understandable I guess.

Speakin' of "off the map" trails, I finally found South of Heaven, pretty fun trail, though it's not nearly long enough, and it crosses another trail at one point, still fun. Local instructor told me where it was, along with Kyber, Ride don't Slide, and another trail off of Freight Train.

Nope, lunch break here at the shop. I was up there Monday and Tuesday. Conditions were great. I didn't flat, only fell once, got my ass handed to me a few times by Simon and Lars... I need to get faster. That's all there is to it!

I know, I should have. If I would have known, I would have driven myself. But If I would have stayed, I would have had no extra clothes to wear, nor would I have had a ride home Tuesday night in order to make it to work Wednesday morning. Oh well!

FYI, I took it at someone's word that this trail was "off the map" so to speak. Typically when locals report this kind of thread to us they're either poached trails that are not legal, or trails where a lot of traffic could get the trail shut down.

If that wasn't the case in this instance, I apologize - but I have no way of verifying such reports, and rarely get a report like that when it isn't justified.

Can anyone tell me where A-line is?

What about Clown Shoes?

Is it true I have to take the 99 North to a place called 'Whistler'? Is the 99 the same as the 'Sea to Sky' Highway?

Take a right, go 3/4 of a mile past the Shell station...you'll see a guy in a yellow slicker. His name is Hank. He'll take you to "Teh Whistler".

Dude. You crossed the line. YOU KNOW NOT TO LET OUT THE SECRET TRAILS. YOU'RE PRETTY MUCH GOING TO GET BANNED FOR THIS KIND OF CRAP.

[psst. Can you tell me where Mt. Fromme is?]
