I'm trying a to help a friend get into racing next year. We will be running the Hood course tomorrow for a bit of practice, and he'll be racing the 5th race this year on his hardtail.
I am a mongoose dealer and we are going to set him up on an ECD as it is exactly what he is looking for part spec wise. However, being as we are a small IBD we dont have an ECD in stock nor can we afford to order one in his size and take the loss if he chooses not take it regardless of how much I want to.
I know that a handful of guys are riding the ECD at hood and we are just looking to see if anyone would be interested in letting their bike go for a test ride at the last hood race. He's not neccasarily looking to get a run down the hill, just see one in person and parking lot test it, although a rip down the hill would be cool, its understandable if you dont want to let it go for that long.
Let me know if you are interested in allowing a test ride on your ECD.
Thanks.

i think trevor (steezeyweezy) has one, hes a cool kid and may not mind
Talk to Jeff Jackson, he has one and so does Jason Mosely (of PA ride days) And I think the GHY bike shop can help you out too.

ya i think i saw you up there today, i was the long haired kid with the ecd. i love it, you rode it around, your friend wont be dissapointed, i can say that with 100% confidence, there's nothing not to like about the bike unless you think its ugly or something. a lot of people bitch about the floating bb, but honestly, i havent noticed it once since i got the bike, love it

I have got one and will be at hood next weekend. I'm not sure about a dh run but around the parking lot or whatever would be just fine. And i have lots of experience telling people about my bike from being in Whistler. Umm if you need to find me i am tall, dark haired and have a black Mad Max.

Yep, that was us. I was the one with the raw M3. I know that Paul, the guy that asked to ride it first was certainly impressed with the bike in the parking lot. I found it to be very pedal friendly as well. A bit short for me, but the wheelbase seemed to be very managable.

We'll keep an eye out for you. I know that getting as much feedback on local terrain will be extremely helpful for him.
Buy my demo instead <3
Depending on size and price he may be interested. He was talking to a couple guys with Demo's yesterday. He seemed to be more impressed with the ECD though.
Thanks for the reply's guys and for the test ride yesterday Trevor.

I don't remember the second run at all. My memory starts at the Huckleberry Inn. WTF.
