so i dont know why, but my mom is set on me only taking two bikes to college with me. i'm going to western and i want to bring all of them. of my 3 main bikes, which two would i enjoy the most?
my bikes:
-eastern ace of spades w/ odyssey wheels and other bits
-blk mrkt riot with marzo 4x, ss and rear brake only
-transition dirtbag w/fox 36, 9speed
you see i love street and dirt jumping, and i think i would ride those the most, but i couldnt live with my self if i didn't ride galby and the other big bike sweetness.

Bring your Dirtbag and a POS beater for cruising campus. Something that can sit in the outdoor racks outside the dorm and rust or get stolen/stripped that you won't cry about.
Have your mom put the Dirtbag in her homeowners policy as a 'scheduled property' (or 'listed property'). It costs a few bucks extra; but if its stolen, scheduled properties are not subject to the usual HO deductible and you'll get replacement value.
Keep the POS-bike ugly-but-rideable.

What MT says plus-Take the riot and dirtbag and keep them in your room. If you are staying in the dorms trust nobody and lock your door.

Deffinitly the dirtbag.
As for the othet two, pick which one you feel the most comfortable DJing on. They are rebuilding the Bellingham DJ's, so they should be sick.

the only downside to leaving the bmx is the amount of sweet street action on campus and in the city.

well if you can dj on the bmx, then bring it. bmx bikes are less likely to get stolen, and you could always switch later if you decide you brought the wrong bike.

I'm leaving for Western this Saturday and am going through the same dilemma. I'm prolly gonna bring my STP and my track bike. I figure I can ride Galby on my hardtail and also use it at the dirt jumps and around town. I am not sure my roommate is gonna stoked about having two of my bikes in the room but whatev.
