Now that I know it's possible to convert an air sprung Marzocchi to a coil sprung (thanks to VTinCT's thread in the Tech forum), I'd like to know if it's possible to add an inch of travel in the process.

My girlfriend has a 2000 Z5 FlyLight air fork with 80mm but the head angle is very steep on her RM Spice. I personally consider it rides like crap (it's barely impossible not to kill yourself if you remove your hands from the HBars for a look-mom-no-hands!)

Is it possible to buy the 100mm spring kit to modify the travel?

Thanks a lot!
:)

Hey man. I just ordered the kit today, so i should get it in a few days!:thumb: It IS possible to add the 25mm to the fork, you just have to order the upgrade kit (according to my LBS). The only kicker for me was having to go through a shop! Too bad it can't be done factory direct.

Good luck dude!:monkey:
