I don't recall her being particularly slow back then, either. Nicely done, Chelsea!

Thanks everyone! It was great to be down there. The race started out with temps over 100 ... * ouch * :) I am still not that fast - just stubborn :)

It was an exciting race. My teammate Kelly Magelky and Tinker really made it exciting. Every time Kelly passed me, tinker was within feet of his back wheel - until an explosive break by tinker the second to last lap - Keeping it exciting to the very end.

.. Yes a good dual would be fun! Are you rockin the Single Speed?
How's the little one (I imagine not sooo liittle anymore :)

Yes there was some snow - the course was in much better shape than we did it a few years ago. We missed the big snow - as we didnt make it to the venue until .. about 11:20 saturday .. - and yes I missed the start :)
(I think I started about 30 minutes or so after the race started .. doh :)

Yeah, she's 2 already!!! I do rock the Singlespeed on occasion, but I got a new Orbea D'ella and that's my favorite bike right now. We'll see though...it would be perfect for that course!

30 minutes late and you still crushed the field :thumb: I have my work cut out for me for sure!

2 already .. Crazy!! That is a pretty bike! Yes - The SS was awesome on this course .. I had to walk the b*tches by my 3rd lap .. It is waaayy to early in the season .. and no training to make it up those the entire race and still go on :)) The belt drive was super cool! and completely quite!

what gearing did you use?

mcgowanc

haha ... i don't know - I think it was something like 2 x 1 or something.. it was a pretty easy gear.. Which seemed perfect for 24 hours! We had a co'ed SS 4 person team - And I think they would have loved a bigger gear.. They were FLYing by me :)

what gearing did you use?
