help out a fellow rider

hey guys i have a buddy who recently got his bike stolen and im trying to help him build a new bike. only problem is hes very low on funds right now. i allready gave him my giant DH frame but all it has on it is the bb and seatpost. im going to scrounge through all my old parts for whatever i can find for it, basically what im asking is if anyone has any parts they want to get rid of for cheap let me know because i would really like to get this built for him.

thanks a bunch and if anyone sees a white heckler with a pike in the rancho san diego area let me know because i would love to catch the scumbag that stole this bike.

dude, i cant really help out much here, seeing as to i'm in the same kind of situation as your friend, but thinking on this topic, FactoryCostcoDH and i were on our way to the beach and at this stoplight next to our house, we saw this chollo riding a green Bullit with red Dorados... sunglasses blue baggy dickies and no helmet...

anyone lose it sometime ago? the tires looked like they were old High Rollers..

i'm pretty sure my assumption was right dude.... i'm not using a stereotype, i'm just putting the peices together

i know there are many of us who live in the ghetto, yet have our bikes, but how many of us are gang and drug involved?

oh, and lovebunny, i might be screwing this whole DH thing for awhile seeing as to how i have no rideable bike and no help anywhere, i might be able to contribute some stuff... just gimme a little time and i'll have mostly everything figured out with what i want to do with the components on my bike... i'd be stoked to help someone build a rig

i got parts for days. I got a front 20mm wheel that is worn and useable. I've got a rear that needs some spoke tension, but it should work. i've got some derails and some bar/stem combos. hit me w/ a pm of what you still need. pm me w/ a phone number and i can call to discuss what i have.

I had new haro 8.3 and by little brother took it to the library to go play rune scape and dident bother to lock it, but why would u need to lock a bike everyone at the public library is honest moral people who would steal a bike?
