Post Canyon over long weekend?

I need to ride post but have no one to shuttle with. Is it possible to ride up and down or is that death? I wouldn't mind exploring with someone or joining a shuttle group. I have a car that can hold 2 big bikes. Anyone riding over labor day weekend?
