hey i have a rounded bolt on my stem and i cant get it off i was just wondering is their any specail ways of getting them out?

You're gonna have to use something called an "E Z Out". They're available at your local hardware store or home improvement store. Heck, I think walmart even has a few.

Since you mentioned it's one of the bolts on your stem, I'm assuming it's an allen head. All you need to do is to use a hammer to tap in the tightest fitting E Z Out tool and unscrew it out. If the EZ out strips, your only resource would be to drill the mofo out. Good Luck and welcome to RideMonkey.

Or if you can get to it without damaging your stem (and don't have an EZ out), you can slot the head of the bolt with a dremel and use a screwdriver to remove the bolt. Just be careful you don't slice through more than the bolt head and be sure the screwdriver is seated completely so you don't strip out the slot you created.

once I just got a disc sander/grinder and I cut a sideways groove in the bolt. Then I just used a burly screw driver to get it out.
