you thought i was going to bash rrc (http://www.racemsc.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=825).
but actually they are going to bring some serious growth to downhill racing!
we all race alone against the clock to see how fast we are right?
here is what i see for the future of DH racing with transponders.
think about having all kinds of data from your race run, heck even
a time where you can do timed training runs @ the end of daily
training sessions.
here is an example:
first i would love to see not one split on the track but 5 or so
strategically placed splits, like right b/f a woods section or from the
start to the finish of "named rock garden" or down a fast road
section @ angel fire!
second would be data from your bike. first on my list would be # of
pedal strokes! it would be so cool to look at how much you were on
the gas VS the guy in front of you. a g-out meter would be fun too!
DH racing will just get better with technology thanks to the guys @ RRC! keep it up guys and bring us the future!
