yeah plattekill's a must, mt snow, highlands 3 hours from mt snow in the other direction so that might be a little out there, i've always found killington to be fun, not too technical and extreme but fun, thats all i can think of right now

but seriously it would be fun. i dont get why people from diablo get pissed when you wear a platty shirt... who cares, i like to ride anywhere that i will have fun at.

Whiteface is close to Diablo. Just go north on I-87 to Albany. Stay on I-87 north of Albany (Adirondack Northway) to exit 30 (1:30 hours) then follow signs to Lake Placid or Whiteface for 45 more minutes.
If you haven't been the high peaks region of the Adirondacks you may be surprised by the size of the mountains.

isnt white face close to gore??? thats more like 4 hours of driving.
what kind of stuff is at whiteface.. there arent to many pics on the web page last time i checked. are there a lot of manmade things there or is it mainly singletrack and flat turns and stuff like that.

True..Its right down the road actually. 10 or 15 minutes max, just follow the signs. Nova Scotia is maybe another 1/2 hour past that...Also very close to Diablo...:banana:

no sweat man, I was just busting balls. a weekend road trip is always a blast. I also vote for Platty considering your drive time. If you ever want to do a really long, but doable trip, head to Snowshoe. The riding is great and the West Virginia mountains are beautiful.
