i currently own a marzocchi dirt jam pro and i'm looking to upgrade, possibly a marzocchi drop off, and i was wondering if you guys had any other suggestions in the $200-$300 price range

Are you looking for something with 100ish MM of travel? If so, I'd take a look at gold Labels.

ya i am looking for something with 100-150mm or so, arent the gold labels pretty expensive, all the ones i've seen have been around $500

a drop off really isn't much of an improvement over the dirt jam. look for closeouts and stuff, there really isn't much in the way of quality forks for $200-300 unless you go with something on sale. cruise ebay and other big retailer sites.

call up zocchi. they have a credit program where they'll give you credit towards a new fork/shock if you send in your old fork/shock. it doesn't have to be one of their products either. it's great policy for them and the customer.

I've seen gold labels for 350 new. Look for a used Pike.

ok i guess my real question is if i could get a new drop off 3 for $150 would it be worth it or should i just save the money
