Who is the best to work on your bike around asheville?

Wes at Epic Cycles in Black Mountain is a wonderful mechanic, he can fix pretty much anything. I don't have too much experience with any other places, but Carolina Fatz is just a wonderful bunch of guys and I've heard a lot of great stuff about them(no experience with them though). Those are the two places I go when I have something I can't do.

epic is the only bike shop in asheville that is worth going too. even though its not in ashevile. other than that there is pro bikes, and carolina. i have some good friends that make trips out to those places to get wrenching done and well nothing but good experiances.

You needing a suspension tuner? Or a gears and truing/dishing kind of mechanic?

I've yet to find one that is great at both..since there are around 5 million different bikes and no 1 particular technology to learn as of yet.

Epic is great. Dude is patient. Alex at Pro Bikes is great.
The girl at Liberty is a whiz with Hayes brakes.
Other than that, everybody is so new to me in the mechanic scene, I couldn't begin to point you anywhere.
