The current issue of Bicycling magazine touts an Italian road bike that looks as though it has been fabricated from melted candle wax. Ooooogly. :disgust1:

That's nothing compared to the bike my co-worker has. It's all this and that with no style and lots of vague references to other ugly things.

Yeah I know this guy that has this thing that is just horrible. I don't know how anyone could ever consider having such an item.

Just a guess but I'd say a person who rides one of these:

really shouldn't complain about one of these

he's insulting a Pinarello?
ooh, I hope The Jinx doesn't see this thread!!
Besides, I like them too. I like that they're experimenting with other materials (eg. magnesium), coatings, designs.
trek, giant, specialized, etc can all suck a collective c0ck.

I like them too. I'd like to have one except for the fact that it would make me too much of a roadie. A triple and a suspension seat post could take care of that though.

I don't have a suspension seat post on my roadie!

I do.:busted:
Only because I'm too lazy to take the saddle I like to ride off of it and put it on the proper seatpost. Not that a 410mm suspension post doesn't belong on a roadie.

I have the preload maxed out. It only moves if I hit a bump that would normally knock your teeth loose.

Other than Eric's Colnago, this thread needs some serious love, so here's one of the hottest bikes I've ever seen...

I have to get a pic of my '97 Bi-Titan posted somewhere... At 21 lbs, it's a freakin' lead brick (especially for a ti road bike), but damn does it look cool. :pirate2:

I'm sitting within 200 feet of more Colnagos than you can imagine being in one place. Well, maybe you've got a good imagination, so I can't promise that...
We used to have a Forever hanging in my office about 3 feet from my chair. The paint was amazing...

That is a piece of beautiful art. I would love to own it but not to ride it as they even painted the braking surface :poster_oops:

Actually, the bikes for sale had non-painted braking surfaces. But I think that bike shouldn't be ridden. They make 50, it's painted by the guy who re-did the Sistine Chapel, and it's amazing in person. Pure art.
The new Ferrari, now that is something I could ride. With the Lightweight wheels, please...
