I'm pretty dang certain that even my e13 zerostack will be too tall. I need a Cane Creek Double XC Flush. Anyone got a spare?

i had the same problem with my 66 that was cut too short. i used a SIC stem and it barely fit with one thin spacer underneath it.
good luck!

You might want to check the stack height of a Dangerboy AK47 stem. They're pretty slim too.

Yeah, that stem looks nice; however, I want 31.8 clamp...and it's $$$$$$$. I ordered a cane creek flush yesterday, so hopefully I can make due with the Holzfeller stem on its way.

dangerboy AK47 stem has a real low stack height, that might help your cause. With the Double XC Flush headset, you need to make sure your fork won't hit the downtube at 90deg turn, that's what happened to my 66 on my Imperial frame, it wasn't hitting but it was basically clearing the frame by barely 1mm which didn't inspire much confidence...
I can check when i get home if I still gots my dbl XC flush laying around I might sell it to ya if ya still wants it.
edit: ok well nevermind didn't catch ya fast enough :p
OH and dangerboy makes the howitzer which is an AK47 bored out for 31.8 bars.

Just checked the fork thing with how it is right now (e13 zerostack, no headset race yet) and it clears by 10mm...we're good! Thanks for the belated heads up though!

is the cane creek flush shorter than the e13 zero stack? i don't see how that is even possible?!

My Diabalous stem was pretty slim. I also milled an Azonic stem once and it worked fine, but thats pretty last resort.
P.S. I love Macaroni.

I think they would be virtually the same - the e13 is 6mm stack and those IS headsets are about 8-9mm so the total is about the same as the CC flush which is about 15mm, right? Which is cheaper?
