So got my 3rd ride in on My bottlerocket today and got really feel what the bike can do. Unfortunately climbing was part of my ride today and I had some questions of can be happening. I know the BR is not made to climb but it does pretty well. During short steep climbs where I can normally ride my demo 8 up which had 36t/11-34 gearing with maxxis minions. My BR rear tire was constantly spinning out. I know the BR has shorter chainstays but I am running a 32t/11-34 combo with a michelin 24 on back(uncut).
So i am wondering is it the tire or my lower 32t gearing up front? I am thinking gearing ...
