Thoes Forumla brakes look sweet !!

I have MAgura Marta's on my street and park bikes , and Lousie BAT carbon's on my 4x bike .

I also got a set of pre production prototype Hayes Stroker Ride brakes in a sick grey color that I'm going to test .
I'll post some SPY pic's as soon as I get em on .

im all about the avid mechanicals w/ xtr levers. good power and such, and i like to be able to adjust/mess around with things at the trail/park and not have to worry about all that hydraulic nonsense. keep it simple.

Actually, I find hydros the most simple thing ever created. The self align, untouchable power, and light finger pressure. Not to mention you don't have to unthread the pads from the rotors everytime your bike goes skipping across a street.
However, it was nice to be able to twist a pad into the front rotor to deter thieves at gas stations...

i had bad luck with hydros from barspins gone bad and ripping hoses out. plus i bent enough hayes levers at the park to not want to mess with it again. hydros are great on the XC and DH bikes, but ill stick to cables on the dj rig

No, you just do it wrong... To do things like x-ups and bar-spins, you have to run alot of spare cable. I run alot of cable so even when I crash, my bars can almost spin twice. Never bent a lever though, I don't see how people do that.

the bent levers came from my old propensity to hit the eject button if things werent going so well. im fully aware of the long cable deal for spins, the hydros just werent worth the cost/hassle for me.

IMO they work great. The power is worth it, and they don't tighten up as the cable spins around. I'm partial to Avid Juicys.

I have a juicy 7 on my hardtail. When the 7" adapters from go-ride come, they will be on my bullit too.

Vbrakes, and saints on 160mm with goodridge lines on different bikes.

The saints, well ok and the vbrakes, have been completely maintenance free their entire lives. That, or I just dont maintain them :)
