Hey, I am from Ontario and am kind of new to biking. I have always had a bike, just a Supercyle Hooligan but I am looking for something better. I have narrowed it down to do bikes. The Norco Katmandu and the K2 Zed 2.0. They both cost about 445 dollars. I am very stumped and need your help. Here are the links to the bike. Vote for which one you think I should get. Here are the two links:
K2 Zed 2.0: http://www.sportchek.ca/sportchek/do/style?menuId=231&styleId=43681
Norco Katmandu: http://skiisandbiikes.com/shop/bikes/Norco-katmandu.htm
Not to mention, this is a nice site!

I like the Norco - but I don't know why. :

If you can get test rides on each of them, that would be preferrable. They both look like similar part specs so there's no real differentiation there.
If there's no test ride available, flip a coin. Seriously.

i think I might go with the K2. It can take more of a beating than the Norco from what ive heard. But keep postin'.

Now my friends are leaning towards the Katmandu for me since I am not like extreme, I only hit like medium sized jumps and drops. I think the Katmandu is for me!!

i've been super happy with my giant stp1. it will take you a long time to grow out of that bike, and could easily get one used for your price.

But the KHS is a good dirt jumping bike that can take a beating.

Oh okay. I will get the K2 then. My friend has gone of 7ft jumps with it and it's been fine. It's a decent price too. Now that I look at the Katmandu, it's complete ****.
Is this your friend?

Lol that's funny, but man, the parts on the Katmandu aren't very good. The K2 is nice.
